| Having been raised on a farm, I was exposed to strong beliefs and values built on giving back to my family, friends and community; even to the very things that stir your soul. These values have served me well through 36 years of marriage, our 2 children and grandchildren. | |

A frozen pond and a hockey puck shaped my early childhood and the enthusiasm and skill set for the game is still with me today. My chosen career as a Funeral Director puzzled my friends but to me it was all about the living not the dead. Fourteen years later, circumstances redirected my career options but not my passion to go the extra mile. My introduction to the financial services industry was as a captive agent with a large insurance company. The motto in the 80’s was working for “the company” by selling proprietary products and services. This went against my sense of value and fair play to the clients I served. I believed I could and have built a company based on personal independent and professional advice. For 23 years my goal has been to serve in the best interests of my clients in planning and protecting their financial future. This has been demonstrated by choosing companies with a solid performance in both products and service to meet my clients’ needs. “Our Independence is your Opportunity” has been tested by time and found to be true.
